CYG Contron DGA Pilot Launched in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
From May 5 to 10, the CYG Contron team visited Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to deepen technical cooperation with strategic partner SAC Company on Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) systems for substation monitoring.
Leveraging years of expertise in the electric power industry, the Contron team completed a full cycle in just five days—from solution discussion, on-site assessment, to customized product commissioning. The team tailored the DGA equipment to suit Saudi Arabia’s harsh operational conditions, including high temperatures and heavy dust environments, ensuring compatibility with the local grid’s reliability and safety needs.

In addition to performance upgrades, Contron initiated full lifecycle technical support planning for long-term collaboration. According to the deployment roadmap, the DGA pilot project is set to be launched in Q3 2025, accompanied by technical training for local engineers—laying the groundwork for large-scale future implementation of CYG Contron products across the Saudi power grid.

This initiative reflects Contron’s commitment to global energy resilience, smart grid safety, and regional customization.
